At New Community, we know that not everyone arrives at church with a built-in community. Some women are flying solo in life, while others are simply flying solo when it comes to attending church. Whatever your situation, we want you to know that you don't have to do church alone.Flying Solo is a welcoming community of women who support one another, share life together, and help create connection and belonging. Led by Marnie Bone, the group includes women from all ages and stages, and many have found genuine friendships and a real sense of community through being involved.

There are lots of ways to connect. Some women participate in specialist groups that meet regularly, others join in social events throughout the year, and many simply stay connected through the wider group chat. On Life to Share weekends and Table to Share events, Flying Solo often gathers together, making it easy to meet people and feel connected.

One of the simple but meaningful things the group can do is arrange to meet each other out the front before church events, so no one has to arrive alone or wonder where to sit.
